"We've been using Dr. Grantland for years. He's been seeing our dogs since they were puppies. Everyone in the clinic knows our dogs by name, their history and makes them feel safe and comfortable. Oh dogs actually enjoy going to the vet. The staff answer questions, give advice, and are a joy to work with."
"If you need a compassionate vet for your pet AND a vet that cares about their customers, this is the place to go. I have a few neurological health issues that make it hard for me to be in certain lighting due to them triggering my epilepsy, and had an embarrassing moment where I was close to passing out due to all the stress I was under dealing with my cat being unwell. They didn't panic, calmed me down, got me water, and were so, SO kind and understanding. Because of that, I was able to stay and focus on my pet despite it all, which meant so much to me. To the staff here, seriously, thank you all so much for having so much care toward your customers. You are all wonderful!!"

"My mother took her maltipoo to be groomed. Not only did they put her to sleep, but she's traumatized 24 hrs later. Its like she doesn't know who anyone is, she won't get out of my mothers lap and she's bleeding from multiple places, including the tip of her ear they almost chopped off! I would NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER TAKE ANY ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE! I'm not sure who they let cut her, but she's terrible. Not even the same dog! All these great reviews but put a 9lb puppy to sleep and cut her up so bad, she can barely be touched! Pictures included!"
"I’m guilty of using a cheaper vet in the past because we have multiple animals; however after taking Charlie to see Dr. Grantland today, I’ll never make that mistake again. The staff were all so friendly and informative. I think Charlie made buddies with the staff! I felt so good about Charlie’s healthcare after leaving the office. I absolutely recommend Athens Animal Hospital!"
