"Unfortunately the older lady with the white gray hair decided to put out Christmas sale stuff today mixed in with prior Christmas sell stuff so we stood in line for a good 30 to 40 minutes being patient while they had technical difficulties with their register, and when it was finally our turn I tried to get something that was supposed to be half off and it did not ring up half off so I proceeded to say I got it out of the Christmas clearance section very politely I may add because I'm not a confrontational or rude person. Then the cashier which is very lovely by the way called her manager over and the older lady snapped and rudely said the sale does not start till tomorrow and she knows because she just put it out with an attitude. With all due respect I understand that the sale does not start till tomorrow but she could have just politely informed me that it was mixed in with the stuff that was already on sale and not just been so rude and hateful. At that point I just set my buggy to the side and had to walk out because that store was not about to get any business for me at that point. I could have easily got rude back with her but decided not to because kindness matters and maybe she was just having an off day but sometimes we need to learn not to take our anger out on other people."

"The manager Tiffany Moore has been wonderful. I frequently send money through WU and I have run into problems with WU on a few occasions. Tiffany has always gone the extra mile to get things straightened out for me. Don't know if you have an employee award but if you do she deserves to be recognized. She's one of the reasons I shop at Dollar General. Would recommend that people should shop there. Elizabeth ( Liz) Kelley."

"I had a hard time locating what I came in for & an even harder time getting anyone to assist or help me! After hunting, searching, & going round & round, I finally found what I was looking for & made my way up to the counter, only to come face to face with one of the most unfriendly, unwelcoming cashiers I've ever had the misfortune of encountering!!! When I lived in the city where this store is located, I frequented this place often, even on a regular basis. I always had a wonderful experience every time I went! The store, itself, has changed, they've moved everything around, they've utilized the space in a much better way. It also has much more stock/ product & now has a freezer section. Sadly, the staff isn't the warm, inviting, welcoming, or even friendly staff that it once was or that I've always been accustomed to! My experience was very disappointing!"

"The Dollar General is a great place to go if you are wanting to go in and out really quick like. The only thing that I have a problem with is the fact that it says low prices everyday and some stuff is more expensive there than you can find at Walmart and other General convenience stores. But again if you are looking for a quick in and out it's your place to go"
