Ashley Motel

"So at first i call them and ofc its an Indian guy who picks up and says “Ashley motel” so i politely ask what are the prices for a “single bed room for one night” then he says “oh sorry wrong number” like um ok so i hang up and make sure i dial the right number and the same thing happens he picks up saying “this ashley motel” i ask the same thing again and he says “so u want one room for one night?” and i say yes then he says “oh wait this is the wrong number not ashley motel”. Every single review is terrible i vote we all shut this place down or atleast pressure for new management because this is plainfield not downtown indianapolis and then the owner responds to the bad reviews like a child on here! we can either protest outside or take this straight to the bank. How do we as a people want to handle this terrible code of conduct? lmk just send me an email and ill be ready to start the process!"

"The room was clean and the shower had hot water. I enjoyed my stay and plan to stay again. I did have m6 second reservations made but my job changed thatunexpectedly and I wasn't able to properly cancel. The young lady at the desk was helpful, sweet and courteous. Hope they allow me to stay again after my mis-step with not properly cancelling my last reservation."

"My bf and I stayed here yesterday and planned on staying here today, until a mirror fell on me when I washing my hands and I had to hold it up. Behind the mirror was black mold. The lights were out mostly in the bathroom except for one out of the three, there was calcium stains in the bathtub like it hasn’t been cleaned, holes in the wall, by the toilet paper duck tape was there to fix things, it was very sketchy and poorly kept and run down. We told the manager about it and they did give us a refund for one day but wouldn’t give us our security deposit claiming that we were at fault and that we messed up the room, when the room was already messed up to begin with and all the damages were there from previous renters. When we told our side he threatened to call the cops. When we asked to change rooms he said no even tho there is dangerous mold and water damage behind the mirror from a water line. They didn’t even listen to us that I almost got hurt by the carelessness of the owner and my bf and I couldn’t breathe well bc of the black mold. If I could give 0 stars I would, no one should come here because they will be disrespected by the manager and u won’t get ur security deposit back if it’s a maintenance mistake. We shouldn’t be charged for poor maintenance of a place. IT IS A SCAM!!!!!"

"The room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was nice. Lady at the front desk was pleasant. One of the better motels I've stayed at recently."

"Probably one of the worst Motels I ever visited. The room was dark when we entered the room, upon checking I looked at the bulbs they looked old, dirty, and burnt out, Tim (the manager) replaced the bulbs. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was defective and the ceiling around the area looked dirty. All the furniture looked worn out and dirty. The chair was missing it's armrest, and table seemed broken. We paid $97 for the worst Motel money could buy. BTW! The exhaust fan was never fixed ( which could be against the local building code) and we had to deal with the moist stinky bathroom."
