"This architectural gem is of such importance to technological history, and is not only the first, but now the last, brick-clad steel-bin grain elevator designed to use AC power. The fact that ADM has been trying to demolish it since they acquired it (by which time it was already designated as a city landmark structure) makes it's current state all the more troubling. While the public can't go inside the site, it's highly visible from Riverworks, the Buffalo River, the Ship Canal, and the Outer Harbor. Enjoy it before they take it down."
