Dr. Andrea Batchelor

"Dr. Batchelor is great and is one of the few doctors I feel like actually listens to me about my concerns. She's very respectful and kind. She helped me get treatment for a condition that had previously been misdiagnosed. Her staff is a little bit less than excellent though. One of my medications cannot have refills on it because of what kind it is. So I have to call the office and EVERY single month it takes FOREVER to get it called in because it's impossible to get anyone to answer in a reasonable amount of time. It's really difficult going days (or a week sometimes) without my medication because I can't get anyone to answer the phone or even check a voicemail."

"This is in no way a reflection of the Dr, but her staff. My wife requires a PA for her meds that I was told would be done Monday, it is now Wednesday and still not done, and when confronted about the issue I was told OVER AND OVER, let me check with “the girl that does it” and told they were backed up but we will do it right now. They even lied to the insurance company when they contacted them and said they would do it right now. In a town this small in a county this small, you can’t expect me to believe they are slammed with Prior Authorizations to the point that my wife can’t get her medicine that she desperately needs. My only conclusion is laziness or incompetence or both. We are literally sitting on pins and needles, waiting for the inevitable immobilization of my wife because she hasn’t had her shot. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when. She’s been dealing with this for years, we know the drill. NOBODY in that office cares enough to simply to their job. Keyboard strokes and mouse clicks and MAYBE a fax is standing in the way of my wife’s week-being. Sad really. If “the girl that does it” needed it, it would have been taken care of already. I’m very disappointed, in this practice."

"Be prepared for a long wait time! Even with a scheduled appointment you will still be waiting hours. The doctor is amazing when you can actually get in to see her. If your child is sick and needs to be seen that day, you can forget it. Other than waiting an insane amount of time to be seen and never having any available appointments, the doctor herself is amazing."

"Our family loves Dr. Batchelor and Brittany who is the NPRN. She stays very busy so it’s best to call early if you need to get worked in. She has personally called me back when I had questions. In Winston county I feel she is the best for our family needs."
