Welcome to Moody's Butcher Shop, located at 235 North Avon Avenue in Avon, Indiana. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality meats sourced from local farms, producers, and purveyors in Central Indiana. Our signature beef and Berkshire pork are processed in Ladoga, Indiana and brought to our Avon, Geist, Zionsville, and Nora locations for you to enjoy.
Whether you're looking for a delicious ribeye cap steak or some expertly-cut meats for your home-cooked meals, Moody's has you covered. Our resident foodie, Erik Risman, is dedicated to helping you create mouthwatering dishes with our premium meats.

"I ordered 24 FRESH breakfast sausage links and received 29 FROZEN links that tasted very old with a stale flavor. I ordered four 10 ounce ribeye steaks, and was told to wait because they had only cut two and would cut the other two. Got home and had two steaks in one package and four, the original order, in another package. Service was lousy, and flavor was awful."
"Popped in for some steaks and found the butcher shop well kept And they are fully stocked with any and all things you need to make your own famous meal, or night on the grill. Sauces, rubs, ribs, salads, filets. Chops, all fresh and many already wrapped and frozen ( time saver) the service was just outstanding and my selections came with tips and tricks and a really big smile and I loved that personal service! The steaks were outstanding and so fresh, juicy and turned out so tender just a rubbing of salt on the grill.. perfecto!"
"we bought hamburger meat patties, cheddar and bacon. We all didn't finish eating them because the meat stayed bright pink and tasted wrong. We all woke up sick to our stomachs. Never going there again......"
"Stopped in Moody's Avon yesterday for the first time and I was impressed! Great customer service, friendly, very helpful! And some of the friendliest and loyal customers were there and shared tips and praise for the store and employees! Sampled some sausage products that were delicious! Great BBQ spice selection to choose from And the Carrot Cake in the jar was amazing! We are coming back just for that and a few more items. Looking forward to some chops and steaks also!
