"I remember when JBK started this terminal. Three of us from the Savannah, Ga. terminal came to Theodore to keep the customers satisfied & the product rolling.I don't remember the name of the trucking company that we replaced, but some of the drivers stayed with JBK and others left. Before that nice terminal building/shop was built across from the air separation plant ( Union Carbide) and the tank plant, we operated out of the guard shack inside the plant. We didn't even have JBK equipment yet. We were using the other companies rigs! After a short time Kelley equipment and drivers started showing up. The land was cleared for your terminal and a trailer was put there for an office. But the ground had turned into a mud pit! We parked on the street and walked to the trailer to get dispatched. Couldn't pull a rig in there, you're stuck if you did."
