"Came to the area for vacation and to look at houses to buy. I went shooting and had a malfunction with my AR. Jim took care of my gun working after hours and on his day off to get my rifle back up and running. Can’t thank him enough for his knowledge and willingness to help on such a short notice! "I have Jim Burke Gunsmithing to dip my stock and Cerakote my barrel of my rifle. Instead of plugging the chamber when he Cerakoted it, he sprayed it. Now my $1500 rifle jams every shot because the chamber is too thick when the shell swells after being discharged. I took it to another gunsmith who told me that the chamber would have to be polished to correct the problem. This other gunsmith told me that anyone who knows anything about applying Cerakote knows that the chamber must be plugged. Which baffled me, because Mr. Jim kept reminding me of his in-depth knowledge and skill. Also, when he dipped my stock, he left the seam exposed on the top mid outer side instead of putting the seam on the bottom. Just a horrible job! BTW, my firearm is a Kimber Montana 8400, which is a premium rifle."
