"They cancel FAR too often. By the time we do get to talk with our counselor, they've canceled 5 times or more. This is mental health, and it just seems like they don't take it seriously. At this point I don't know what to do. Going to one in the first place is difficult, and finding ANOTHER one to spill all your issues with is just something we don't feel like we can do. Just disappointed."
"I have never had a negative experience at Collins Counseling. I feel very fortunate to have found my therapist here. The environment is comfortable, and every interaction has been pretty pleasant, from the front office to my own therapist. I recommend this office to all of my friends, and I always suggest to do research beforehand to figure out which therapist fits what needs the best. Definitely a good place to begin your therapy journey. Also, it took a few sessions before I was completely satisfied. If you arent happy after at least 3 sessions, then maybe move to another therapist."
"Mary Collins was the worst mental health professional I have ever been a client of. She was extremely unprofessional and gave me a lot of trust issues with therapy, which was once the only place where I felt I could feel safe. She saw both me and my emotionally abusive mother as patients, let my mom sit in my appointments and take them over, took sides (always my mom's), gave me ultimatums, scolded me in how I need to talk to my mother, and enabled my mom's abusive behavior. I'm writing this years later because it was a devastating experience that made me feel more unheard and alone, and it took a long time to process that. Would absolutely never recommend her to anyone."
