"Very disappointed with the lack of customer service. Each person I’ve spoke with or emailed with says to “go to the website” and will not answer my question. Literally, they will not answer a specific one that I have. I’ve been very polite and straight to the point. I have been on the website several times, which does not answer my question. Renewing a passport is a very important matter, I wish that more helpful people would work there. If you do not speak French, beware of rude employees (more than one) who profile you and simply do not care."

"The people are rude and are very strict about every detail of the appointment. My mother is handicapped so I drove with her the 8 hours to the appt to assist her. We explained to Bernadette the situation and yet she did no relent. They wouldn’t let me in the building, I accepted due to Covid. Even though she was the only appt of the day and it was empty, because she was there 15 minutes early they made her wait. I understand wanted things ran efficiently but the rudeness and strictness is unnecessary. I’ve been to the consulat in Los Angeles and they were pleasant and flexible. Unfortunately we have no choice but to come to this one, but they could work on their customer service."

"Very good experience as usual. Mrs Day at the reception, was very understandable and helpful as always. She found an appointment despite the very busy schedule. She took the time needed to go through all the documents required. She called me back for the confirmation. The person for the renewal was very nice too. Welcoming Team , efficient and gentle. What can we ask more than that?"

"I can't speak highly enough about my experience with the French Consulate. From the day I called to inquire about French ID cards and passports for my 5 month old twins to our appointment at the Consulate today, we received the most professional, efficient and kind attention. First Madame Day and the team were able to find us two consecutive interviews despite their very busy schedule as they knew we lived far. Then Madame Day went through the whole process with me, detailing the needed paperwork even if it was also explained on the website, but to make sure I would not miss anything. I called several times to ask questions and talked to Madame Day without any long wait on the phone and she remembered me each time. Also they made an exception and allowed my husband to come with me even if only one adult is normally accepted, but they said with two babies they would understand. The two staff members who processed our paperwork were also very nice and efficient and it went smoothly. Madame Day even came to us after the interviews to greet us and meet our twins. We are very touched by the warm welcome and genuine care we received by everyone and how smoothly the process went. Many thanks to the Consul General and his team!"

"The staff was courteous during my appointment, which only took few minutes. Later on when I called to check on my passport, the customer service was nice and helpful. I have to say both the appointment and my call were conducted in french, not sure if that played a part in my experience :) The one wish is that they process application via mail and do not require applicants to be there in person; for my case it would have saved me 4 hours drive and parking fees for just 10-15 minutes."
