"I used CIBT twice in 2023 for a 10-year visa to travel to China. Long story short, we followed their instructions, and included a required letter, saving a hard copy of the submitted documents. Both times, their advice was faulty, and the issued visa was a single entry. I emailed CIBT about this, expressing my disappointment. A CIBT employee claimed that in the second instance, I had not submitted a required letter, contradicting the hard-copy records we kept. These communications were unhelpful and unprofessional, and basically called me a liar. I was only asking them to resubmit it, and I even offered to repay the consulate fee. It was impossible to get resolution; I emailed three people higher up in CIBT, including people who have responded to other complaints on Google Reviews and at the Better Business Bureau. None of them responded to me, which I felt was extraordinarily disrespectful, on top of the mistreatment and poor advice I had already received. In the end, the two failed visa attempts wasted >$1000. Given the frustration, poor client care, stonewalling, unhelpful interactions, I would say to avoid this company completely."

"CIBT is a TOTAL SCAM They cost more than the state department, are slower, and worse at communicating AVOID AVOID AVOID They also start giving you a ton of hidden fees and if you try to cancel they will charge a cancelation fee Save yourself the hassle and do not bother."
"If you make an appointment and arrive early, be prepared to wait. They must be pretty busy behind the locked doors though. No one seems to monitor the lobby. Once they do help you, tgr service is excellent. I just arrive over an hour early and resigned myself to wait..."
"White glove service to get your visa. Prices are premium but of the two times I’ve used the services, one account manager was extremely professional and prompt. The other was less attentive with responses. Overall recommend for speedy service. Got my visa within 2-weeks after submitting all requirements."
