"I had pain in my neck and shoulders since March. It was also creating a dull constant headache from the muscles over reacting. The VA sent me to chiropractors along with massage therapy, it helped so long as I kept going. Chiropractor said I needed the muscles to be fixed because they were causing the joints to shift and recommended the VA get me help for that. A VA Doctor, that had used Pure Health acupuncture in the past, had recommended I go to Pure Health. I arrived to a nice atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff. Within three visits I had very noticeable improvement. By the time I finished my VA allotted sessions I was pain free. I still have stiffness some, but that is due to arthritis. The Doctor was able to get my muscles to STOP over reacting and wrenching down on my joints. He did an excellent job discussing the need to figure out the source of pain and using various nerve routes and causing the body to use its natural chemical reactions to eliminate the pain. He discussed retraining the muscles and nerves with acupuncture. The first visit the Doctor put needles in my ankle and while the needles were there I was able to fully turn my head pain free. It was so awesome!! It all made since as he went along, my muscles needed to learn how to properly react to pain and not overreact like they were. Once the needles were out the pain slowly returned initially. But each visit had a slightly new set of procedures like an individual map driving towards progress. Within a month I no longer have the constant pain and it has not returned like it was. I still has arthritis but now my body isn’t reacting and creating more pain. Going to Pure Health has been a Blessing. If you are a Veteran and have pain that medication and “normal” therapy isn’t eliminating, please give Pure Health in Brazil Indiana a chance. The VA has been using alternative medicine to eliminate the need for painkillers and prescription addictions. The VA covers this."
