"The WORSE body shop to take your car too. If your insurance company recommends them trust your gut and look elsewhere. Passenger headlight was out once vehicle was returned back to me. They stated that's how it was received. But I got cameras at my home (front, back, and inside of my garage) which clearly shows my passenger headlight working prior to taking it to the shop. Since Gerber doesn't feel liable for the headlight I was told to reach out to ins co, which they don't feel liable as well. Long story short, I got to come out of pocket to fix the issue when clearly this was not an issue going into the shop. Instead of making it right whereas I would continue to use them in the future, but they didn't and rather lose me as a customer this makes me spread the word of this experience to friends, family, Discord, Reddit, Google, FB, and any platforms I use. So everyone is aware of this body shop and their practices. If you do decide to take your vehicle to this body shop, make sure to video record all lights because if they blow a fuse or you get the vehicle return back to you and a light is not working they are going to say that's how it came in. Even if you have video proof that it worked before coming into the shop. Doesn't matter to them, they rather lose you as a customer then replace a headlight bulb. Lesson learned, trusting people recommendations. NEVER AGAIN"

"Gerber's at 424 Merkler St. Fort Wayne (near Lima Rd. & Coliseum) was able to fix my 18 year old son's car when another shop told us it could not be fixed. And, they did it for a very reasonable price within 2 hours! We had purchased an older used car for my 18 year old son. The drivers seat wobbled and tilted toward the center console. We took it to a well known shop which told us they would not be able to help us. They said that it needed a part which was no longer produced, and that we would have to find one out of a junk yard ourselves. Seeing Gerber's nearby we decided to try them. I was thrilled when they told us they would be able to fix it. Within 2 hours, the part was welded and ready to go for a very reasonable price. My son and I were both thrilled!!
