"I found out about WedSafe from an article published by Brides. I knew I wanted to get wedding insurance the day after receiving a proposal. I called and received six quotes from six companies mentioned in the article. I did not receive the most competitive quote from WedSafe, but I did like that the policy offers job loss insurance with the economy being up and down right now. My experience started very positive. The woman I spoke with over the phone answered all my questions and was very friendly over the phone. Applying for the policy is self-service. The website needs an update because I attempted to complete the policy on my phone but was directed to do it from a different browser when I ran into trouble submitting. I should have put the year 2024 instead of 2023. I emailed the company immediately and asked if they could update the date, and I followed up with a call. The person responding to my email said it would be 15 business days. I understand that underwriting takes time, but I will always hold a company accountable for what they say, especially if they provide me with something in writing. I called earlier this week, eager to know if the policy was updated. The woman I spoke with over the phone said 2/23/2024 would be the 15th business day, and it's 2/24/2023, and I am still waiting to receive an update. She said she could not guarantee when the policy would be updated; however, that should have been communicated before they missed a deadline, not after. I need to be covered if anything were to happen, and the company is aware. Either process the date change or give me my money back so that I can work with another company. The company is amiable when they feel like you have the potential to become a new customer, but once you become a customer, the customer service goes downhill. Do not book with this company WedSafe. Could you hurry up and process my claim?"
