"I've been a patient of Dr. Varghese for several years. I have no issue with Dr. Varghese (except for his painfully slow typing skills. So slow I want to ask him to step aside so I may type for him). I think he is a good doctor. The biggest issue I have is time management. Dr. Varghese will be running late (emergency, prior obligation, it doesn't matter) and the staff will not tell me. Please give me the option to reschedule. I waited in the exam room many times for over 1.5 - 2 hours! When I'm scheduled for my next appointment, I always get a request to get more lab work prior to the next visit which I faithfully accomplish. I ALWAYS get rescheduled multiple times before I see him. Several times, I was rescheduled so many times, the latest lab results were too old to use! Each lab visit costs me money. It appears that this practice has accepted more patients than it can reasonably accommodate. I just received a notice telling me I was rescheduled. Of course, I'm not consulted and have to change my schedule. I am now actively searching for a different nephrologist. I'm tired of how this practice operates."

"I have never been treated as poorly as I was treated by this doctor’s office. The staff and nurse were extremely rude, ill-mannered and unprofessional. During the initial nurse/patient consultation, the nurse never looked at me, she sat with her back to me and asked question after question; unconcerned, impersonal and negligent of human interaction as one could be. After the series of questions from the nurse, Dr. Broder passed word through the nurse; because I was 10 minutes late to arrive to the appointment, he was canceling my appointment and I would have to reschedule. From there, things only got worse but are too lengthy and laborious to describe here. I will not be going back and would encourage you to look elsewhere as well if you desire genuine, empathetic healthcare from a professional staff; someone who has your health and wellbeing at the center of their practice."
