Greater Mobile Urgent Care

"I usually receive fairly decent care here but this weekend, I went in with something my husband had gotten treated for earlier in the week. I explained to them that all of his test came back neg and they prescribed him a z pack and he began feeling better the next day. The difference between my husband and I was that he never ran a fever and I had a small fever on and off. They prescribed me something different. Not an antibiotic. They also knew I had been taking cough syrup to help manag symptoms. Because this script wasn't helping much and I wasn't told NOT to continue to take cough syrup, I was taking it simultaneously only to find out that I was accidentally over dosing because one of the key ingredients in this medicine is found in every cough syrup and the internet was pretty adament that you shouldn't take cough syrup at the same time as this med. This med, BTW, is not covered by most insurances but can be found over the counter in products like mucinex for much less. Anyway, my fever has gone up, I'm having trouble getting it to break because the I turned was unclear on if I can take a fever reducer with this med so cold compresses will have to do until I can see my primary doc. I can't help but wonder if my husband and I received different care because I'm a woman. I normally wouldn't think this if it weren't for the fact that I told them what he was prescribed, that it helped, and the fact that I had a fever and he didn't."

"Monday morning, I arrived at 7:45am thinking I would have to sit in my car until 8am when they opened. Surprise, the door was already opened, and I could go in. There were only about 4 or 5 other patients already in the waiting room. Nice. Office staff was friendly and helpful. I was given a tablet to fill out my info. It wasn't too long after I turned it in that I was called to go to a patient room. Then, a nurse came in to take my vitals. Three other young nurses were with her. It was obvious they were in training. All were nice. Not too long afterward, the doctor came in, listened to all my health concerns, been coughing for a month, etc. Then, my covid test came back positive. The doctor was very sympathetic & encouraging. She wrote me five different prescriptions. Another doctor came in and talked with me more about covid. They wrote me a doctors excuse since I was now quarantined. Overall, all the staff was sympathic, understanding, and compassionate. And the doctors gave me enough prescriptions, I'm ready to fight this thing and get well. Been coughing for over a month. Previously I would not go to a doctor, afraid of all the sick people in the waiting room. But my experience was nothing like I thought it would be. And I will have no hesitation to go back if needed. I highly recommend this urgent care. 10/10 It was a very pleasant & beneficial visit for me."

"Went in because my son cut his hand wait was a bit long but the staff was amazing. They gave him lots of sticker and one of the staff members held his tablet while they were doing the stitches and they all loved on him afterwards. (They even helped his dad when he passed out from the sight of blood) highly recommend 10/10"

"Went in on 12/4/23, arrived at 950am, waited an hour and 20 min but was never seen. Went to Front desk at 11:10am to let them know I've been waiting an hour and 20 min, and asked where I was in the queue and how much longer I needed to wait. Woman behind counter said "I don't know. I can go back there and check, but..." and she shrugged. I didn't get a sense of "urgency" from this urgent care. I recommend going to another location."

"The staff here at our west Mobile urgent care have always been very accommodating. In most cases they get me in and out in reasonable amount of time. So happy to have them just around the corner from where I live. The Doctors on call have always been friendly and seem concerned about issues we are addressing."
