"We have used Dr Payne for almost every single dog we have owned. We’ve never had an issue until now. Our ShihTzu was misdiagnosed causing him to be euthanized. Dr Payne was aware of a heart murmur he had but waited to put him on any medication. He also misdiagnosed congestive heart failure. He stated our dog was having seizures from what we were saying, never once did a xray- ultrasound NOTHING. He also tried to say WE were killing our dog by what we have been feeding him. We have had him for NINE years and Dr Payne knew exactly what we were feeding him and never once said it was bad for him. NEVER until now. That makes zero sense. Fast forward to this past week, our dog had been having issues with breathing so we rushed him to the emergency vet. He had fluid surrounding his heart and lungs majorly, he was drowning basically. We had to euthanize our 9 year old baby due to this misdiagnosis along with placing him on seizure medication when he wasn’t even having them. I can’t remember exactly what the emergency vet said due to the trauma of our baby dying, but said his “seizures” were actually him passing out due to not enough oxygen reaching his brain. Another misdiagnoses. We have always loved Dr Payne and his clinic, but we will never be back. Our baby should’ve had years left with us. Sincerely, a broken hearted who misses her baby."

"Some of the staff should not be there to work with animals, there's 1 or 2 that will never touch my babies. I've seen one lady grab the leash out of a lady's hands & jerked the dog pulling him to the back. If that was one of my babies (have mercy on her, because I wouldn't have). I just dont trust them after I saw that & I haven't been back."
