"DO NOT GO HERE! They claim to be Christians but are extremely rude. They try to tell you that you don’t need proof of pregnancy for Medicaid when you do and she kept just saying no, no, no, you’re wrong."
"Went to see if they could give me information on getting birth control. Left after an hour of being chastised for being an adult who has sex. Also left with probably over 6 pamplets about abstinence and ZERO help getting birth control. Waste of my time."
"They were very nice, and I had my 3 month old with me which while I was doing a test one of the ladies volunteered to watch her and believe me she was fussy.my pregnancy test was positive. Yes they do a small bit of counseling and the woman is avid about telling you about Jesus. Even though she knew my religious preference was not strong, there is no harm in listening. I gave birth three months ago and now am pregnant again, they were very encouraging and not at all discouraging."
"Complete waste of time. They mean well but don't follow through. Since I was seen in the ER at 6 weeks pregnant, for a cyst on my ovary causing me pain, they could not perform my scheduled ultrasound. I waited for 45 minutes just to be told they couldn't do it. They never have enough staff there. Whoever is funding this place needs to stop wasting their money."
"I visited this center to make sure it was a good place to refer other girls to if they need help with a crisis pregnancy. The people here were very kind and genuinely responded to my concerns about potentially being overbearing about religion or putting undue pressure on girls in crisis. If you have trouble with a counselor/client advocate, you should definitely express your concerns to the other workers so that it can be handled. As far as resources go, they do an excellent job trying to help mom and baby both during and after the pregnancy. The baby boutique is well-stocked. Formula and maternity clothes are offered completely for free, and diapers, baby clothes, and other supplies are given in exchange for attending free parenting classes."
