"I am afraid of being here with my night weekend staff of nurses who would rather avoid asking for help when they are not sure about what they are doing, give me pain medicine to quiet me when they are tired, have bowel going back into my stomach through an NG while insisting they are following doctors orders when they displayed clearly a lack of interest and knowledge of that particular procedure. I don’t feel comfortable or safe, and I don’t enjoy being pacified or spoken to in condescending tones."

"Unless you don't love your family member, Do not use Jackson Hospital. My mother was not given 6 of her meals without family having to stay on then. Don't seen to care for the welfare of their patients. Out of the stay, 1 nurse was absolutely wonderful and he did amazing. One patient care tech was wonderful. Other then that, absolutely horrible."

"Went to Jackson ER and had two comforting and attentive RN’s Ricky and Claire that I’d like to thank very much. Radiologist Collin and phlebotomist Willie were very sweet and made me feel comfortable. Each communicated with me with care. I’ve never been to the ER before and was honestly so overwhelmed and ridden with anxiety. Thank you to these wonderful people for making it the best it could’ve been."

"Ambulance d took me to the Jackson Hospital ER. Sunday night around 11:30 PM. Stayed in the hallway for a short time, then they wheeled me out to the waiting room. 1.5 hours later I made it to a room. I had acute pancreatitis. 14 hours later I had a room in the hospital. ER staff would be rated from excellent to poor. ER beds OMG they are painful, ER room was very tiny and extra cold. Hospital staff was much better than the ER staff. Beds were far more comfortable. I would suggest to anyone who can still walk too request a portable IV stand so you can go to the bathroom on your own. Waiting for a nurse may take sometime. Dr. Chen is excellent doctor and got me feeling better fast. I was on a liquid diet for a 1.5 days. Everything that was supposed to be cold was delivered warm. Including milk. Ever drink a warm strawberry Ensure, just down right barf. Hospital paid for a taxi to take me home. For those who complain about long wait times in the ER waiting room. Pick your time to go, better to wait at home for peak hours to pass, rather than wait in painful chairs for 4 or more hours."
