About the Business
The PACT Theatre Company, located at 5025 Cottage Hill Road in Mobile, Alabama, is dedicated to creating exceptional theatre experiences that inspire and engage the Gulf Coast community. Founded in 2018, The PACT Theatre Company offers unique productions that are new, relevant, and different from what you may have seen before. Their programs not only develop theatre arts tools but also important lifelong skills such as creativity, communication, and confidence.
The company is currently seeking performers to join them in creating magic for the Gulf Coast community. Artistic & Executive Director Jacob Rowe recently received The Freddie G. Fellowship, and The PACT Theatre Company has partnered with Spring Hill College to offer classes, productions, and more in the Arlene Mitchell Theater on the historic campus.
With a focus on engaging and inspiring the community, The PACT Theatre Company is excited to continue their partnership with Spring Hill College and bring even more opportunities to Mobilians. The company's dedication to producing unique stories and providing exceptional theatre experiences has already garnered a strong following, with over 500 people attending their outdoor production of Disney's "Tarzan: The Musical" at Langan Park.
As the partnership between PACT and Spring Hill College continues to grow, audiences can expect even more exciting productions and programs to come. Spring Hill College, founded in 1830, is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast and the third oldest Jesuit college in the United States. With a mission to form leaders engaged in learning, faith, justice, and service for life, Spring Hill College provides innovative educational experiences that transform and inspire students.

"The musical "legally blonde " was fantastic! Music was great, singers were wonderful, audience was so into it! It was an awesome and amazing performance! Very talented people!!!"
"Newcomer youth theater. Had to try 3 sets of doors to figure out how to get in, but the THREE HOUR play made up for it? Your money's worth, but a long time to sit for some folks n kids. Cast n crew apparently work unusually long hours in rehearsals to get it right. And pay hefty fee for it. Not sure this fits with many budgets or busy kids' school/home lifestyles, but theater kids can tend to want more and more and more, so there isn't likely a shortage of takers. More opportunities to be involved in live productions must be a good thing, and everyone can't have a bona fide theater with a proper stage/backstage/house/box office...(How DO they learn the ropes?) On balance...intense training, mostly younger kids, settle in, excuse the shopping mall. Have fun"
"The PACT is an awesome facility with quality instructors! My daughter has been taking private lessons since the spring opening and is so excited for the fall registration and classes! The growth as a performer that she has experienced has been incredible! Jacob Rowe and the amazing staff he has brought together are going to bring the theater community of Mobile some spectacular shows!
