"I traveled 2 hours to see Katie Orr, being that there are no holistic dentists near me (to address a concern from dental work by another provider). The trip was well worth it! The staff was very good about returning calls and scheduling. The visit started with a tour of the facility to better understand the holistic approach. Katie is such a people person (she took the time to listen and provided great recommendations). She also followed up via email. As a healthcare agent and patient I recommend Katie 100%. She has a great sense of humor and a gentle approach that even helps those with anxiety. She has your best interest! :)"

"I was looking for a holistic approach dentist. I chose Dr. Orr to visit in December of 2023 because I believed she fit what I was looking for in an new dentist due to having a not so great experience with another dental office. I shared all of this with her so she would understand that I was apprehensive about dental visits. After discussion at the initial exam on what procedures needed to be done. I came in a week later to have fillings done on only one side of my mouth. This is were things went wrong, I was in excruciating pain and could not open my mouth, and when I went to bite down I still felt like there was a nerve that was hit, I could not chew, hot and cold irritated one tooth. She did call to check to see how I was doing after the procedure and I let her know that I was in a lot of discomfort and she stated that it was the bite that needed adjusted. So after some contemplation on going back in to let her adjust the bite, I did return to get the bite adjusted, well after letting some days go by to see if that helped sadly it did not and now there is a huge hole between two teeth and it bleeds constantly with high sensitivity to hot/cold, I can't bite down without being still a lot of pain because of the nerve. I understand that there is some discomfort that comes with dental work but it should never last for almost a month and I still have limited jaw mobility, still have to chew soft foods on one side of my mouth. Financially out of pocket cost I could not keep going back for adjustments. So I have been left to look for another dentist. I want to be heard as a patient on what I want and need. She may be the dentist for some but due to this first time experience she is not the long term dentist I had hoped she would be."

"I moved last summer. When I would look at a new place, one of the first things I did was Google up how close it was to Dr. Katie. I'd make whatever drive it took-- as it was, I drove past five other dentists to get to her-- but closer would be nice. A new Walmart, I could find; a new hair salon, I could fine; heck, I could find even a new synagogue if it came to it, but you were not taking my Dr. Katie. I spent 50 years trying to find someone who both did good work, and didn't send my blood pressure so high my eyeballs plotzed; if the best apartment I'd found had been in Ohio, I would have flown back for appointments. But as it was, I got so lucky as to find a place closer! I actually post this review with a little reluctance-- if everyone starts going to her (like they should), it will get harder and harder for me to find an appointment."

"I’ve read some of these comments and some can’t be furthest from the truth they are either speaking up because Dr Orr made them pay and they refused or because they can’t find another hobby that leave hate comments. I’ve been going to get for my whole life and she is the nicest person with the best education out there. If you are considering a dentist please consider Dr. Orr, she is the best!!"
