"I will never go back to Shanks Truck Repair. I brought my truck to him to find out what was going on and I had told Tim to contact me first before he did any repairs to my truck since I am on a budget. I called his shop the next day just to find out that he had already started taking it apart to repair it. I was not happy to hear this because I was very concerned that I would not have enough money to cover the cost that's why I repeatedly told him to contact me with the estimate before he started taking my track apart. So fast forward to a couple of days later after the repair is completed and we arrived to pick the truck up and once it came time to pay the repair bill I was very upset with the total cost of the repair because the estimate I was originally given was considerably lower than the bill I received. All of this stress and worry could have been avoided if Tim would have done what he said he was going to do and had contacted me first from the get-go instead of him taking it upon himself to go ahead and fix it and charge whatever he wants for the repair and also giving me a totally different cost then what the estimate was. It wasn't even close to the estimate and he had no explanation except for blaming inflation for the reason why the bill was so high. I highly recommend people avoid this mechanic shop. But if you don't mind having to pay a very very expensive car repair bill then Shanks truck repair is the place for you"

"Had a busted egr cooler hose on my '05 w4500 bucket truck called the shop and he told me to bring it by so I did and he had me back on the job an hour later. I'm not from Columbus but if I ever have anymore trouble in the area he will definitely be my first call"
