"Had an excellent experience with my colorist at True Self Concepts. After much contemplation and consultation, I have opted for a gray blend. I could not have been more pleased! I also had my hair cut by another stylist a couple weeks ago (my regular stylist) and it was perfect. I received so many compliments about the cut, I cannot wait to hear what they think of the color. HIGHLY recommend!"
"Went here to get my roots touched up as I had previously done and had a good experience with but this time was horrible. The workers were very kind but the service left my hair botched. I noticed once I got into the car that there were various spots that weren’t even dyed at all. I have done my own highlighting at home before and not had my hair this patchy and yellow. Even my previous blonde is way more yellow. I didn’t notice how bad it was when I was in the salon and figured that it would just fix with a toner but unfortunately it’s going to need more than a toner now and a trip at another salon to fix."
"I met Destinie a year ago for my wedding. I was blown away with her talent and have continued to see her ever 6 weeks. You must book in advance. I have gotten to know Courtney also and she is great as well. They are more than hair artists, they are a client’s dream with their wisdom and passion."
"I always leave feeling better than when I came in man. Like ofc they do great hair and use their ability to bring not only their personality as an artist and my own personality as an individual— BUT they also have great people working here with the same energy and loving hand. When I was getting my hair cut and colored by Destinie , Courtney came over and asked if there was anything she could do to help as well and the way they worked together seamlessly was amazing. The conversation is amazing, the space is calming, and the people are even better. I wish I had more money so I could do stuff like this every 3 weeks LMAOO but alas, I will never go to another salon again."
"Stylist Courtney has been cutting my hair for years and never disappoints. She has also had done color for several friends who have all been satisfied. Heck, she can even read your tarot cards which can be quite fun and entertaining. All the stylists here are talented. I've watched the staff here be very patient with the kiddos when giving them a cut on a few occasions."
