"Let me start with—the nails themselves look good! They’re not too thick, they feel strong, they are painted well. I called in the morning to make an appointment and the girl who took my call seemed a little annoyed. No big deal. I asked about cost, she said no chip acrylic would be $50. I asked if a design would be an additional cost, she just said “yes” and didn’t elaborate. Which was fine, figured maybe $10-15, I told her to book me. Got there 5 min early for my 3pm appointment. Got right into a seat, they weren’t busy at all. She was just chilling on her phone—cool. Obviously she had to have been bored to death because she yawned about 15 times during the first 5 min I was there and gave me a very “bored” attitude. I’m not much of a talker anyways, so I just read my book and let her get to work. During the process of painting my nails she did cut one of my fingers with the drill tool enough to draw blood, I just laughed it off. I pick at my fingers anyways, no big deal. Every time I would say what I want she didn’t really seem to be listening, and when she put the first dot of my Mickey Mouse design in the wrong place she got a bit irritated that I asked her (nicely, I’m 100% non-confrontational) to change the placement before she went any further in making the design. She made a joking “jab” later that if I had her change anything else “I’d have to go”. Ha ha. Whatever. Then when it was time to pay the cost was $75!! I mean, again…I’m “happy” with my nails, but I’m not sure how this style added $25 increase in the price I was given when I called. The whole thing took her over an hour and I was sure to tip 20% for her time, but I’m really not impressed with the overall visit here. That’s a lot of money for a set of nails with all that attitude."
