Competition Transmission

"I was referred to Competition Transmission and it turned out to be a great referral. After examining my vehicle Joe suggested, because of what he found I take my vehicle to Mastertech for repairs which were not transmission related and come back to him for a transmisson flush. I followed Joe's instructions, got those repairs done and went back to Joe for his service. Now my vehicle is riding like a new vehicle. I'm very pleased and would recommend his services for anyone who needs his services. I previously went to another shop that stated I needed a new transmission and quoted a price of $6500. Sure happy I got a second opinion from Joe. He saved me a lot of money."

"Was told out of business in June. Not taking any more cars. No fulltime mechanics working. Joe is or now was mia. Joe did a good job on my trans while back. Quick too. Easy to deal with ! So called in back in March lady answered the phone, asked me alot of questions, then told me Joe isn't in nor is the shop taking in any more work. Then told me go else where. What ? Checked in again in June. Parking lot was very empty now. Shop lights were off, garage doors closed yet summer and no one in sight. Lady in office said Joe is going threw some stuff. She then said thier no more mechanics just a part timer working on what's left. Told me to go to place in Harvey. :("

"Couldn’t be any happier. Took my Bench job in without any wait. They explained to me over the phone everything that was going to be done on my 4l60e rebuild. They gave me a reasonable price range before taking the job in and stuck to it. Very communicative while it was at their shop. Got it done very quickly in the time I needed it done. When I picked up the transmission after hours it was packaged up very nicely with an additive and trans cooler cleaner. The transmission was clean and coated black. Put over 500 miles on the car since the rebuild and the car has felt great and haven’t had any issues. Very reasonable, reliable, and quick. 10/10 would recommend to anyone else."

"OK, two things, I found that there are no quick fixes in transmission repairs. Inevitably, you must drop a transmission to effectively repair it. Number 2 is a good transmission repair shop is worth their weight in gold. Competition Transmission is that place. This is my 3rd time here (different cars over 20 years) and they again did a fantastic job on my 2015 Dodge. Great people and great knowledge. My vehicle is driving perfectly. By the way, they rebuild themselves, and prices are cheap for this type of work. Thanks CT."
