"I would not recommend this company! We ordered a custom cabinet for our bathroom toilet area in June. We were asked to take pictures and provide measurements of a current cabinet in another bathroom that we wanted to replicate. We paid half down ($625). The owner should have come out to look at the area that it was to be installed in order to make sure there was adequate access. After many phone calls and visits to check on the status, the owner finally called in early November to come and install the cabinet. He walked in and looked at the area. He was upset and told us the cabinet was not going to fit because it was two inches too wide and could not be spun around in the room to hang. Additionally, we took a drawer by his shop so they could match the stain. The drawer was a cherry finish, but the cabinet was finished with walnut stain. The owner told us that we could either pay the balance of the money and take the cabinet and hang it in our garage or he would keep the deposit and the cabinet. My husband went ahead and paid the balance and brought the cabinet home so he could try to figure out how to mount it in the bathroom. The cabinet was built well, however, the owner should have made a site visit and worked with us to correct the cabinet."

"We used If It's Wood for our recent kitchen updates. Chuck was knowledgable and very responsive to all our questions and ideas. He provided excellent insight and guidance when we weren't sure exactly which direction to take with several parts of the project. He and his team were fantastic throughout the project. They were consistently on time and followed the projected timeline. There were no surprises or hidden costs in the final total; the estimate given at the beginning was the total charged at the end. We would absolutely recommend Chuck and If It's Wood. They did a fabulous job!"

""Customer service is mediocre at best" Company decided not to preform work without any explanation of why. I suspect it is because the job was small. While no contract was signed an estimate with price was given. 1 hour before receiving this email I was told via phone that all which was needed to continue work was my deposit of 50%. I told them I would drop it off that day. These guys may be great for larger jobs (don't know), but if you have a project under 1000$ I suggest going elsewhere. Below is the cancellation they gave me and they will not return phone calls and have not replied with any further emails. LLC: Due to scheduling conflicts, I am withdrawing the proposal for an entertainment cabinet. I appreciate your interest in If It's Wood and wish you well on your project build. Me: We haven't even scheduled a date??? LLC: No date was scheduled, no contract was signed, no deposit was made. No harm, no foul. We wish you well on finding a cabinet maker that is better suited to your needs. Me: Is it just too small a job? Do you have any idea of whom I could contact to get the job done?"
