"Stayed here for a work trip and was very disappointed. I have stayed at plenty of Home2 suites that were great but this place seemed very run down. First my room was not ready when I checked in at 3:00 and they had no ETA as to when it would be ready. Once I was given a room. the room I got the door lock was messed up and you had to use your shoulder to force the door open then force the door shut to lock. I got settled in and turned on the TV to discover that it had ben punched or had something thrown at it because the screen was destroyed. Was moved to another room where the door still did not operate correctly and had to force it open and closed. The carpet had a big hole in it, and the blackout window curtain was pulled out of its track. My room never was serviced on my second day. Most of the doors on the second floor had paint peeling or chipped off. Besides the lobby floor the rest of the hotel looked run down and not very well maintained."

"First, I arrived at the hotel to check in for a business trip and the front desk guy was very rude trying to force me to pay for my hotel stay that my company had already paid for I was only responsible for the incidental fees. However, I was able to get that situation sorted. Next, move into the room!!! I called downtown stairs to the front desk and the heavy black guy (he would not give me his name) was extremely rude again and told me there was nothing that could done about the dirty room and the bugs flying around and that I would have to “just deal with it or check out and and wait for my refund within 7-10 days”. Oh and he’ll let housekeeping know to clean the room tomorrow!"

"My experience at this hotel ranks at the very bottom of all the hotel experiences that I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and if I had an option I would have changed my arrangements but due to military obligations, I was forced to stay here. I was at this hotel for a total of 2 weeks. On the second night I noticed not one but two roaches. When I informed the staff of this, they proceeded to tell me that they are not roaches but water bugs as though that should have been acceptable to me. They moved me to a different room to accommodate. When I entered that room it was evident that they put me in a room that had not been properly cleaned and there was still evidence of the previous guest i.e. rose petals on the floor, balloons on the wall and candles on the bed post. I was told that night, this room was only temporary and I understand however I explained that due to me being there for the military, I would only be able to make the move outside of school hours. My class did not end until 5pm. The staff said they understood and would work around my schedule. The next morning, I received a call from the desk manager, Jacobi, stating that I had to the move that morning. I explained to him the conversation that I had with the staff the night before and agreed to move after I got out of class. When I returned to the hotel that evening the staff informed me there was no available room for me to move into, so I stayed in that room another night. Again the next morning Jacobi repeated the process, telling me I had to move that morning as I was heading to the bus to go to school. Saturday morning at 8am with no warning or phone call Jacobi knocks on my door with a rolling cart demanding my move as though it was vital that I moved at that very moment yet when I asked for a key to the next room his response was "let me check with the cleaning manager to make sure the is a room available to your standard". 1 if you were not sure that a room was available why rush me out 2. Is a room free of bugs not also the hotel's standard. I called customer service on him and was told that the hotel manager would call me to address my concerns. To this day I have not received a call. The icing on the cake was after I had moved, I was in my room unclothed when a worker walked into the room without a knock or warning. A completely humiliating experience. I did not feel comfortable addressing this with Jacobi who was at the front desk at this point so I called customer service back and again was told that the manager whom I believe name is Ms Bush or Owen's would call me back..again I have not received a call to this day. Avoid this hotel at all cost."

"Disappointment during the stay after paying for one night. We were moved to three different rooms. The first room was already occupied with someone else’s belongings. In the second room, the air conditioning was not working. The third room had a double bed and also had a non-functional air conditioning system. Additionally, the front desk lady was quite rude. Despite having authorization to charge my card for the room, the digital key did not work, resulting in a two-hour wait for my husband. Overall, our experience on Friday night was an absolute disaster. The hotel acknowledged their mistake and gave us Hilton honor points in return."

"Such a disappointment. We stayed a year ago and it was clean ans customer service was top notch. 1 year later and things are completely different. Room is nasty. Hotel is nasty. Floors are visibly dirty both inside and outside the room. Stains on sofas. Just not doing a good job maintaining the place. Really sad to see such a dramatic decline in a year's time as it's a great stop for us on our way to Destin. We will need to find a new hotel next time."
