"Well, I don't know what Jennie's on about, but as someone who couldn't give two shittake mushrooms about 'the board' (and has never interacted in any way with 'the board') or any Facebook drama, I have been quite happy with MCDC. Prices are reasonable, and extremely transparent since this is technically a non-profit co-op (the parents are the members that 'own' the organization and decide the important non-day-to-day things). I love that it is not religiously affiliated (unlike almost all of the other day cares in northern Alabama). They are currently (as of Spring 22') dealing with some staffing problems (as is every business with employees in this salary range) but they are actively remedying those, and recently (as a result of parent intervention) increased the teachers compensation to help with retention. Teachers and staff seem to genuinely care about the children and want the best for them. This is not a 'prep' school for your 'gifted child that struggles with emotions of has any disability'. This is a daycare that is open 10 hours a day, and will take care of your kids."

"Full of bullies and the adults are the main bullies and hang with the board so if they don't like your kid they will lie to have them removed. Board won't even get envolved until after they kicked your kid out and had you pay money for a therapist to go and help with your kids emotions only for the teachers to not follow the recommendations. So, if you are not in the in crowd they will bad mouth your child on FB and teachers will discuss your child with other parents. Do not recommend if you have a gifted child that struggles with emotions of has any disability. You need a cookie cutter NASA baby to fit in here. But hey at least my kid is ready for kindergarten and can add. Didn't need MCDC for that. The kids in this school can't even do addition."
