Being outside all day and playing in the water and mud and sand while learning tons of science was the best thing she has done all last summer or this summer!! Fresh Air Family is a wonderful organization that truly lives out its mission to get kids and families outside enjoying and learning about nature. I had some concern about her being a little young for the program, but they did an incredible job communicating with me and making camp a perfect fit for both her and her best friend! "Gross Out Camp is the best camp Birmingham has to offer! My son has attended the Trussville and Vulcan camps for two years now and is always so bummed when the summer is over! He is beginning to age out of just being a "camper" but is so excited to start his journey as a junior camper! If you need a camp for your kids, Gross Out Camp is it!"
"This year, 2020, has been our third year as members of Fresh Air Family and for our kids attending Gross Out Camp. Our kids enjoy each one they have been to and learn so much while exploring outside and different topics in science. I have spoken to several of the leaders and they are great! We attend events when we can that are on the calendar, and they are all enjoyable outdoor events helping our family be active, learn, and have fun! I recommend joining and participating in their events!!"
