"I have purchased furniture at Sutton's in the past. This time I purchased an armoire, part of a bedroom set. We were serviced by a saleswoman the next day who in addressing our questions about another piece of furniture made a vicious racist remark about Jews to my wife who is not Jewish, but I am. My wife confronted her. I became aware of her comments and I confronted her. She felt free and comfortable to express her racial venom which only confirms my feelings about the deep South; beyond redemption. I doubt that this woman will be fired. So, if you shop at Suttons and belong to one of our many ethnic groups, be prepared for a racist remark."
"Much bigger than it looks from the outside and the folks inside are extremely helpful. Prices are quite reasonable. Unlike furniture stores where you pick what you want and wait three months for them to manufacture it and get it to you, you pick from what's on the floor or warehouse and they deliver. New furniture arrives constantly, so if you don't see what you like today, it may be there next week."
