"Nachell, at the front desk, totally set the tone of exceptional professionalism & warm friendly customer service. She exhibited this prior & now during our long-term stay. Very appreciative & thankful she assisted me in selecting the just right location!"
"This hotel is under a renovation, so I completely understand that a lot is happening and can impact your view of the stay. All rooms have been remodeled, however hallways, lobby and common areas have not. My big complaint about this hotel though is the cleanliness of it. I was immediately knocked down with a Christmas tree air freshener scent that was throughout the entire hotel. The smell was so strong I developed a headache. At the point I arrived, there was no other option to change hotels. I stay at hotels a lot and this, in my opinion, is unacceptable. The cleanliness of the room is subpar. Toilet rims were not wiped, and sheets had hairs on them."
"What a beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very clean rooms! The reason for a 2 star’s the hotel from the moment you walk in and up to your room as an odor of pine. My allergies I can’t not breath… the pine the smell is so strong.."
"Our stay was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, which contributed greatly to an enjoyable stay. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was a convenient bonus to our stay. The Shoals is a quiet area of the state with quaint small town vibes. We would visit again."
"The room renovations are finally complete and the rooms are very nice. It seems that they are about to start updating the lobby and entrance, so more construction is slated to happen very soon. The staff continues to be top notch, and the breakfast is always decent. The only complaint we have is that there is some kind of perfume/ air freshener device in the lobby that is terrible. Way too strong, and it sets off my wife’s asthma. That thing needs to go!"
