Hyatt Place Huntsville/Research Park

"Great location & great hotel but for some reason they lock their doors at 8pm. I know most hotels lock their doors but usually not until 11, kinda strange considering the amount of traffic & people still arriving at that time & not to mention it’s the weekend. This is my second night staying here, last night the other lady didn’t lock the door until about 12. I like to sit in my car when it’s not to cold so that’s really the only thing I didn’t really like."

"I’m so disappointed to write this. I’ve been traveling to Huntsville at least twice a year for a few years now. This hotel was my go to because of location and quality. Unfortunately, it’s slowly gone down hill. The last time I stayed, the person next to me had their tv up so loud it was louder than the TV in my room, all night long. I asked the front desk for help and they didn’t do a thing. It was like that for my last two nights, all night long. The girl working seemed like she could care less. The most recent time, I checked in around midnight. The privacy blind didn’t work and there was a spit wad like thing stuck to my wall along with stains on the carpet. I asked for a new room and was told they were completely booked. She didn’t even offer to have anyone come the next day to fix either, I had to ask for that. I double checked the next day that they would be cleaning it. Yep. Absolutely. Came back, blind was fixed, spit wad still on the wall. Went back down to get it fixed again and they called someone who it sounded like told them they needed to do it themselves. I waited an hour and half. No one came. Both people working the front desk were rude and disinterested. So, the next morning, I found a new hotel and checked out. The woman working did make it right by not charging me for the nights I wasn’t staying. It’s still disappointing that I asked 3 times and no spit was removal happened."

"Stayed here three nights for a work event. The room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was good although very crowded at peak times and they struggled to keep up with the food and coffee demand. The general area is great with an easy walk to good resturants and shopping. While this is a big plus, it is also the one downside as the area is pretty noisy at night with cars reving engines, people around making noise etc."

"Good hotel with close proximity to the arsenal and several restaurants. Stayed here a week for a work trip. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was the same thing everyday. Overall check in and out was very fast with the app. I had no issues during my stay. Would stay here again for a quick trip to HSV."
