Holiday Inn Research Park

"The overall experience at this hotel is below adequate. In the room, the floor feels gross to walk around, the sheets are stiff, the pillows are uncomfortable, the toilet is worn down with weak plumbing, and the shower is coated in who knows what. There is no privacy in your room. The noise from neighbors and even the hallway is VERY audible with a door in between rooms with a single lock, not secure at all. Additionally, you must pay for breakfast, which is very underwhelming for the price. The service was average and as expected. The only reason anyone should stay here is if they’re trying to save money, but even then, it’s not worth it. The location is the only redeeming quality, you are close to all the main stores and businesses."

"Rooms are decent but neighbor can be heard as if they are in your room. Every word every sound. However, there is always "junk" In the halls when I stay here. Two day stay this time and these two utility carts were left in the hall and never moved. Previous stays was laundry carts, construction material or other items."

"I usually have all good things to say about Holiday Inn but this location was a little bit of a disappointment. The afternoon/night staff were great. The common areas looked amazing. The sleeping area of our room was great. Our bathroom is where the disappointment was. The shower/tub caulking was cracked/missing/stained in multiple places. The tub itself was so stained it looked dirty, or was actually dirty. Upon check-out I mentioned the tub caulking to the desk person who unconvincingly said she would let maintenance know. Hopefully it was an isolated incident."

"We love this hotel! We ended up here on accident but it had everything we wanted, indoor pool and hot hot tub. Restaurant and bar in the lobby with love music Friday. Nice surrounding area."

"We were in town for a softball college showcase. The hotel was convenient for us. Upon checking in, I couldn’t even hear the girl behind the counter because the band was loud and the crowd was loud. We got to our room and the room next to us was throwing a big party. Lots of vulgar conversation and girls screaming and laughter. Not something I wanted to hear or our daughter to hear. At 10:00 pm they were still going strong. I called downstairs and asked them to take care of the noise because we had to be up by 6 am. They said security hadn’t made it in yet but they would send maintenance up. It took until 10:30 pm got the loud partying to stop. Your front desk needs training and the band needs to be in a different are so guest can hear the front desk employee. I have to give positive remarks to the lady at the bar and a specific waitress(forgot her name) at the restaurant. They were gracious, kind, and took care of us very well."
