"Recently, I had a less than satisfactory experience at Love’s Truck Stop. Due to an unfortunate mistake on my part, I accidentally mixed 1.5 diesel gas into the DEF tank. In my moment of panic, I sought help from the Shop at Love’s, where an employee named Adam informed me that the engine could catch fire or be destroyed due to this error. Furthermore, Adam mentioned that they could not assist with the issue and recommended that I contact the Freightliner dealership for a resolution. Feeling dismayed by the potential cost and severity of the situation as described by Adam, I decided to consult with my regular mechanic for a second opinion. Contrary to the grim outlook provided at Love’s, my mechanic advised simply pumping out the mixed fluids from the tank. Thankfully, this solution worked perfectly, saving me thousands of dollars and potentially preventing unnecessary repairs. I am disheartened by the lack of support and guidance offered by the staff at Love’s during this stressful situation. A more knowledgeable or helpful approach could have significantly alleviated my concerns and provided a more straightforward and less costly resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a negative impression of Love’s Truck Stop, and I feel compelled to share my experience to inform others who might find themselves in a similar predicament."

"Lots of parking for truckers. Has shop for trucker repairs, electronic gadgets inside the store, Hardee’s here too. Restrooms are clean and have toilet seat covers."

"First time stopping at a love's gas station and now I see why it's so popular. Has so many things and tools for truckers. Definitely one of my favorite truck stops, bathrooms are really clean and don't smell bad at all. The workers are also very kind. I will make this my stop from now on when I'm on this route."
