"I have left 5 star reviews in the past but no more. After being a regular for as long as they have been in SlapOut, yesterday was completely ridiculous. The last time I was in there (3 weeks ago), I had just received some personal news that pretty much rocked my emotions - when I am usually very talkative, that day I was not. I sat quietly and secretly trying to hold back my tears. My phone was blowing up from family (due to the news) and I apologized a couple of times to Ken for my phone BUT I did not tell him what was going on (very private & personal). He was rude to me towards the end & that did open up the flood gates. I cried & cried not saying a word just letting tears roll down my face. I politely got up, paid. And dropped the pen when trying to sign receipt (hands trembling from bad private personal news). Yesterday I walk in for re-fill. Ken refused me service. Told me I was not happy last time and he wants happy people and I don’t like his work. COMPLETELY NOT TRUE!!! He is the only nail tech I will ever do my nails (well not anymore). I tried explaining to him that I was crying and not talking last time because of some news I had just gotten after I was already sitting at his table. I would not have been a regular customer if I was not happy there. So basically - do NOT even so much as think you might be emotional, cry, hands tremble while in there because those people WILL SPEAK UGLY TO YOU & DENY YOU SERVICE! I still cannot understand why that happened. So I left there yesterday very unhappy & crying again because his words and actions were horrible, rude, disrespectful. Never again will I or my 3 daughters support this business."
