"Always a good time clothes shopping for me personally. This is my go-to place to find clothes that are affordable and reasonably in mint-condition. I would agree with the other reviews when it comes to selling clothes there. I tried to sell jeans back to them that no longer fit me due to losing 40 lbs and they refused to buy them as they were “out of style” even though I had bought them no more than a month ago."

"They don’t give you a lot of the clothes you bring in, even if you bring multiple totes in. When shopping here, they were pretty empty and it took a long time for an employee to let me into a fitting room. They also had almost half or more of the racks covered in plastic for their spring stuff. However, this left their store with hardly any variety."

"On November 25th I took two Ikea bags full of clothing to sell to Plato’s Closet Fishers. We came in at opening and we finished the check-in process at 10:03. At 10:09 I received a text that our clothes were ready. There is no way they could have gone through the amount of clothing we brought in five minutes. When we went to pick the clothes up, the girl who got our clothes back from was incredibly rude. She told us our clothes smelled like dog (we have poodles- so no shed fur or, in my opinion, smell as they are groomed every 6 weeks) and were too dirty to buy. She was very disrespectful and talked down to us like we were “dirty”, which was embarrassing because she talked loud. The clothes were not dirty. We washed them the day before and folded them nicely. When we took the clothes back to our car we opened the bag, the clothes had not been moved at all. They were folded exactly the same and hadn’t been touched at all. I left the clothes in my car exactly as they were. I then took them to Plato’s Closet on E Washington Street on Nov 29th. They looked through my clothes and offered us $40. So the problem was not the clothes. I get that our fashion might not be the most demand at Fishers. We’re plus sized, and there was a good amount from Shein. However, I am not upset that they didn’t buy our clothes at Fishers. I am upset at the rudeness of the store associate and the way she felt that it was acceptable to talk down to us and make us feel dirty and less than. It was also the fact that they made this assumption without even looking at our clothes. I haven’t had great experiences in the past at this store. This is not the first time I have felt a store associate was disrespectful or was uppity/talks down. If it was, I probably would have brushed this off as I have in the past. However, it has become apparent that this is a repeated pattern of behavior for the associates at this store."

"They went through my clothes in 5 minutes. Not enough time to actually look. And they allow their employees decide what they think is in style or not. All the clothes I took to them were name brand clothes I’ve got in the past year as gifts. And they claim they’re out of style. Seen same hoodies hanging up I tried to sell them and they said no. It’s a rip. They bought two shirts for $7 and the shirts were $50 each. Might as well do a yard sale before taking your items there. It’s a waste and joke"
