"I called at 5pm and made a carry out order. A large meat pizza and cheese bread. The lady on the phone said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I show up exactly at the 20 minute mark from when I had ordered over the phone. I understand waiting a little bit but I do not understand waiting 40 minutes longer than the expected time that my food would be ready. The bartender working told me that my food would be coming out next after I had been sitting there for 20 minutes. It then took an additional 20 minutes for it to be ready. When I received my pizza and cheese bread it was at room temperature. I would expect it to be steaming hot because it took an addition 40 minutes from my pick up time that was give by the workers when I called at 5 pm. To add to the experience that I had I watched multiple peoples food be brought out to them that had arrived after I did. If they needed longer then 20 minutes to prepare my food they should have told me that instead of having sit there and wait for an extra 40 minutes."
"I don't know how many stars I want to rate. Nice place to have food and drive. Waitresses are really nice. Just wish this place stays open later when every gets off of work. I live next door just wish they close couple of hours later so I can walk home happy about it."
"My family did the Thursday night trivia. We ate before the contest started. We were pleased with the prices. I think everyone’s meal was about $10 plus the beer was only $2.50 on tap. My daughter loved the flavor of the fried bologna sandwich but wished it was a tad larger. Otherwise the Reuben sandwiches, Philly cheesesteak and the taco pizza were all well received."
"Been coming here a few years, mostly takeout. Consistently good food and friendly service. Pizza, burgers, cheeseballs, etc...all good, tried the new roast beef sandwich from the special menu last night, YUM! It can get loud depending on the crowd but never obnoxious (unlike some other places in town I'm sorry to say). You can sit and talk with your wife here, which is what I witnessed last night, couples enjoying their Friday dinner. I'll be back for more, I recommend you give this tavern a try."
