"Extremely rude pharmacist. Had a question about medicine availability over the phone and when I wasn’t sure about something the woman on the other end laughed and hung up on me. I know there’s two sides to every story and she could’ve been having a bad day, but if you are going to work in a medical field you should maybe be willing to answer medical questions? Edit: apparently the question was valid because another person picked up when I called back he was able to help and answer within 1 minute. Added a star for that guy lol"

"Why would you have to shut down the pharmacy for 30 minutes for the whole fully staffed pharmacy techs to eat lunch when half of you could stay working and the other half could go to lunch and then alternate? It's bad enough y'all are closed by the time I get off my minimum wage job. Use those whatever brains you have after blinding me with a laser to figure out a better strategy"

"I just experienced a pharmacist copping an attitude with someone picking up DEPRESSION MEDICATION for NOT PICKING IT UP FAST ENOUGH. Like, if there ever was a prescription that signals "maybe this person has underlying reasons for not being super on the ball" it's frigging depression meds. The pharmacy in this CVS is beyond saving at this point. Got a job with weird hours? Got a disorder that might make it difficult to be timely on that 14 day period prescriptions are held on the shelf? You CANNOT trust the text from CVS that says "today is your last day to pick up the RX. Turns out, at this location, day shift puts them away "as soon as possible" because they're "short staffed" in the evenings and don't want the extra chore. I have had prescriptions here. I have friends and family that have had prescriptions here. I've weathered COVID with this location. Something happened about six months to a year ago that caused this pharmacy to fling itself off a cliff. Everything from customers service to med availability has been absolute garbage since then, it's almost farcical. Among other things, I personally have witnessed: day shift putting pills away early then getting upset when asked to re-fill the prescription they weren't supposed to put back. I've seen hormone replacement therapy prescriptions magically disappear from the system, strongly suggesting someone working the day shift is quietly policing who gets access to prescribed medications because they don't like certain minorities. I've heard hormones described as "not life-saving" because an employee didn't want to dump pills they already had into a smaller bottle. This location is famously short-staffed, to the point you'll see other reviews pointing out this "24 hour" location has weird stacatto hours because they can't staff a full 24 anymore. My impression is the pharmacy crew has a few bad apples who are emboldened by the fact they can't be easily replaced, and it seems like that confidence is leading them to take out their own frustrations on the patients. Avoid this place at all costs. Drive across town for Costco, if you have to. This CVS has fallen on hard times and won't be able to get back up."
