"We just moved back to the area after being in another state for the last 8 years so I was excited to take my husband to what was my favorite Mexican food place. So we finally get there for lunch and all I can say is wow. Horrible service, I actually ran to the bathroom and vomited on a piece of chewy meat when I ordered a ground beef chimichanga. The waitress was in the bathroom and heard me get sick but after 10 minutes back at the table she still didn’t come to check on us so I went looking for her and she made me a new one and said it wasn’t my fault it’s the cook, but I won’t eat it I just basically opened my trash can and threw a $50 bill in it because the food/service are the absolute worst I’ve honestly ever experienced and I’m in my 60’s. What a shame because this place was great but it explains why we never see any cars there."
"We ordered the arroz con pollo and it was nothing like we have had at other Mexican restaurants. There was about half a chicken breast. The queso was melted but in no way hot or even warm. We had to track down someone to refill our drinks. Bathrooms and the rest of the place appeared to be clean though!"
"This place is AMAZING. The service is great but the food is even better. Loved the Pastor in the pineapple. It came out lit on fire and was pretty cool to see. Tasted so good too. This is my new spot!"
"This place is worth the drive, even if you have to pass another Mexican restaurant to get here! Everything has just a little extra added touch to it. Nothing is basic. I loved my meal, the atmosphere, the service and the price. I highly recommend it!"
"You can't tell from the outside, but Red habanero has that old-world style, with that new world taste! The atmosphere created by the attention to detail sets the mood nicely. And, it just makes the food taste better somehow...not that it doesn't! The cooks did a great job in making the rice was not too fluffy, but just right for the meal, the guacamole had the right kick, and the chicken in the quesadilla was tender and seasoned well. I appreciated the server taking the time to answer any questions we had, and gave us time to make up our minds. He was very accommodating and helped make our meal pleasant. Gracias!"
