"Fantastic home-cooked style. What sold me was the delightful breading on the chicken strips. Light and fluffy; that quality and care is severely lacking nowadays and this easily makes a five star restaurant. I was told the desserts are handmade as well. Out of the way, gives the impression that it's kept afloat by a trucker and manufacturer customer base. Another holdout of the world before big corps started dominating the scene. Needless to say, we have an aging clientele with much to say of pertinence to our post-modern times. Welcome to small town America."

"First time visit. Service was friendly and relatively fast for being Saturday morning brunch time and busy. We scouted the breakfast buffet and decided to pass on that option as it looked aged and perhaps ready to be shutdown for the transition to lunch. The food we ordered was good and reasonably priced. We'll visit again."
