About the Business
Main & Madison Market Café is a charming cafe located at 100 North Main Street in downtown Franklin, Indiana. We specialize in crafting rustic pastries, hand-made coffees, and delightful eats for our guests to enjoy. With a rich history and a current vibe, our shop welcomes visitors with great food, great people, and a great ambiance.
One of the highlights of our café is the stunning views of the Courthouse Clock Tower, Historic Artcraft Theatre, and downtown Franklin from our Overlook at Main & Madison. This private gathering space can accommodate up to 18 guests and offers a unique perspective of the bustling downtown area. The Overlook can be combined with other spaces in our upper level to accommodate larger groups, and private A/V equipment is available for events.
The Province Boardroom is a warm and inviting space perfect for board meetings or intimate gatherings. With seating for up to 10 guests, this room features deep-hued walls, beautiful textures, and original 5-panel doors found in the building. Private A/V equipment is also available for use in this room.
Our Loft space is a semi-private area located at the top of our modern staircase. With seating for up to 16 guests, the Loft offers beautiful sunlight and airiness from all directions, making it a perfect spot for gatherings. This space can be combined with The Overlook for larger events, and private A/V equipment is available.

"Bought a Thai power bowl salad. The did not but it a bowl and just poured in a cardboard to go container. If they ran out of bowls I should have been informed. I had to provide my own bowl which I purchased from a store down the road. Spent $42.00 for this type of service. I used to enjoy going to Main and Madison, but the food handling for to go order needs improvement. Very disappointed. I May return for simple coffee and scone, but will not purchase food from Main & Madison in this manner."

"Second time enjoying my order to-go, and Main & Madison has once again knocked it out of the park. The first time I ate here, I ordered the Thai power bowl, and this time I ordered the Mediterranean power bowl. Both of these bowls include fresh ingredients, and are a great option for people who are looking for something fresh and delicious. Both times they have accommodated my vegetarian lifestyle, by substituting avocado in place of the chicken— which is very much appreciated! Their baked goods and coffee drinks seem great too, but I have yet to enjoy anything from these menus. Highly recommend you give them a try!"
