"This Walmart Neighborhood Market is always well stocked and employees are frequently seen putting up replacement items on the shelves. It gets a lot of traffic, obviously sells a lot of merchandise and keeping up with the inventory and stocking has to be a challenge. The produce area looks good and the products there always seem fresh and ready to take home. I have not been as fond of the meat selection as some of the local supermarkets look better. Perhaps it is the lighting, perhaps it is the quality of the meat, perhaps it is my lack of knowledge. The Walmart prices are less; I usually buy meat and chicken elsewhere and often go for the organic or something similar. In general, I have not found any prices where I am familiar with the product and the 'Walmart price is never higher and usually lower than competitors' prices. While their wine selection is limited, the wines I often buy are usually a couple of dollars less per bottle than they are at other supermarkets. Costco is usually lower than Walmart and has a better selection but getting into Costco is often unpleasant because of the traffic and crowd in the stores. The store is well laid out and finding a product is usually relatively easy despite the large number of goods available. The prices are good for consumers; the location is convenient; the selection is excellent. It is a good option for those who pay close attention to their food expenses and still like a good selection of products available."
