"Love this place just not enough deals"

"Recently purchased a pair of jeans online and a pair of sandals. I just had my son 12 days ago so the sizing I got was wrong and I needed to return both items. I sent my husband in with the online email I received when they were delivered. He ended up calling while in the store to which I could hear how rude the cashier was on the other side. They refused to return the brand new pair of jeans that were just delivered today and said they could only offer me a gift card for $24. They were purchased for $37 and some change. My husband and I both said that made no sense and please get a manager. The manager came over said they were returnable and they didn’t know why just that the terminal won’t allow it. Said to call customer care and were of no help. They were able to return the sandals but wouldn’t help at all with the jeans. I work in customer service, in fact I work in this same mall. The fact they couldn’t call their customer care and figure out why their system wasn’t working for the return makes no sense to me. We have to do that all the time where I work. It’s called customer service. The jeans are in fact returnable I now have to mail them in because they refuse to do it in the store. What is most frustrating about this whole interaction is the attitude. I could hear the cashier being rude to my husband. I would’ve walked in there and returned it myself had I not just had a baby days ago and could walk in there myself. I’m disgusted with this stores better than you attitude. It’s American eagle for goodness sake."

"i don’t recommend coming here. the workers stare at me. i’ve come in with my mom and i’ve also come in with my friend, both times they stared at us like we were going to steal something :/ the products are nice but the workers make me uncomfortable. i’m sure not all of them are like this, but the times i visited i had a bad experience"

"The associates in the Kokomo store are unprofessional and rude. I have been in the store 5 times over the last 2 months, and each time I have had a negative experience. I have heard several employees talking negatively about other employees, I have witnessed a manager embarrass and talk down to an employee, and I have walked in without notice to the employees as well. This locations employees need trained on proper work etiquette and should be held accountable for their unprofessional actions. I have tried to look past these experiences but each time I have been in the store, I have witnessed something. And I have now reached out to corporate in regards to these encounters."

"It may be limited but at least they make online easier to do in the store as well as I was educated on products, they carry. I am super tall and I want the high rise jeans as I am an older women. I was able to get what I wanted. Thanks for educating me on the American Eagle brand."
