"reviewing as a previous sales associate at this maurices about a year ago. my favorite part of the job was working with customers, helping you guys find jeans at a good deal, and folding clothes or redoing displays. the management was horrific while i worked there. i almost got sent home by one of the managers who still works there for wearing maurices sweatpants (shark week) and not “dressing them up enough”. (wearing an ed hardy shirt and polo jacket) my punishments were quite degrading, as even customers walking in said “wow what did you do to get in trouble?”, when it was my outfit. this ranged from peeling/scrubbing up stickers off the floor, to making the bathroom floors mirror-shiny and more. mind you the outfit was not revealing in any way. 90% of my shifts they would not give me my break unless I begged, same with bathroom breaks (i was a minor). every night i would go home upset. it doesn’t stop there. everyday i was shamed for not being able to fit into the clothes here because i was smaller. this came from customers but mostly from upper management. it put me to a point where i hated my body. they would make me do degrading work for not wearing clothes they knew i couldnt fit in. and i was great at my job, i sold more credit cards then the managers could. fast forward to today i run my own store and i love that now i get to treat employees how they should be treated. if you’re looking for a mall job, don’t stop here. ps: if the girl who used to work at jail and the mall still works there, i sincerely hope you were able to get yourself into a better headspace and stop projecting your passive aggressiveness into the younger staff. i deserve to love my body and not be degraded at my job. thank you."

"Cute clothes! You can find really good deals there! The people that work there are super nice as well. Nice sweater and jeans selection. It's a mall, so expect average mall prices but not astronomical and the clothing is made well. There's a lot of in style fashions to choose from."

"I went in Maurices with my daughter and hadn't planned on purchasing anything for myself. However, I ended up walking out of there with two pair of good quality, cute, and comfortable jeans! Oh, and I need to mention that the price was so low and greatly appreciated during these tough times! I'll definitely be a repeat customer!"

"Went to shop and was approached, I did say I needed a bra but went looking myself. The fit of these bras they carry was hilarious, not one fit whats so ever. I tried on several items which they did have pretty selections, found an emerald green shirt that I purchased, wore it Friday and the same day the button fell off and is now lost without a replacement. The quality has definitely been compromised."
