"Tried to return a pair of jeans while picking up an online order, the manager refused to help me, was rude and hateful and argued with me about the return policy. I had the return policy pulled up online and read it to her and she still refused. She also wouldn’t give me her name or let me know when a GM would be in so I could come and speak with them."
"Not sure how to submit a complaint, so this will have to do. Very poor customer service. No acknowledgement when entering the store, and no acknowledgment when leaving. I usually like AEO, but not today and not here at Clay Terrace. Maybe management should think about hiring some fresh faces."
"Good but could be much better. Staff seem to be more involved with each other than customer needs. Why the attitude? Why is it acceptable to where ear buds ignoring customer service request?"
"I typically never leave bad reviews as everyone has an off day now or then. However, this experience was absolutely ridiculous. Horrendous customer service by Cashier JR5554 (unfortunately your receipt doesn’t give any better identifying information than that, although you should easily be able to identify her by this, she had her badged turned around now I realize for good reason). I’m waiting in line and she bellows out “Next” I can’t make my way up to her as I have a few people walking in front of me and a couple others at the other cash register closest to me. I look at her to acknowledge her and she rudely bellows “yes you, I said next for a reason.” At which point the other cashier smirks and the two customers look at me in shock that she said this. When I get to her and begin my transaction she proceeds to rudely ball up and throw my clothes in a bag after I laid them down folded (not a big deal but frustrating none the less after he extremely rude intro), and finally to top it off she states “yep” to conclude the transaction, instead of good day or thank you. I will never shop at this AE again, I can see by many of the non puff, probably submitted by management, reviews that management continues to keep these rude cashiers and service clerks despite their horrendous treatment of customers. I would argue that this cashier should be canned immediately, but it’s obvious she wouldn’t care in the least and management doesn’t either. What she really needs is a good slap across the mouth from her mother. Extremely rude."
