Walmart Supercenter

"What worked very well is now no more! They have completely ruined the online curbside order pickup process by moving the parking pickup area to the front lot, that is already overcrowded. Overly tight parking spaces up front have left nothing but cart lines, door dings and frustration from trying to park around all curbside and in store traffic. Employees are obviously frustrated also with lack of space to operate far more unsafe for them crossing active traffic patterns to load grocery’s. Now the back of the store sits barren as we all cram into what little spaces they have. Someone that doesn’t actually do the job or shop here made these decision."

"This store is one of the best Walmart locations around. It is small enough you can quickly get what you need and get out without the usual long line experience you might find at the larger Walmarts. Everything is well stocked, if you need a bike for any age you definitely need to check this store out! Whoever is building the bikes here must be well experienced and take great pride in their work. Staff is also friendly and helpful if you have any problems and they speak English which is a very rare these days. When the lines even start to get backed up Danielle which I think is a front end team lead was quick to have more registers opened up which is much appreciated as I was shopping here while passing through town for work. Carmel is blessed to have such a beautiful Walmart and Walmart is lucky to have Danielle."

"After searching online for a few items I needed that same day, I saw that this store supposedly had them in stock and listed what aisles to find them in. So I left my home in the rain and drove to the store. After arriving and searching for the items I needed, none of which were in the aisle/location they were supposed to be, I attempted to receive assistance from a Walmart employee. After attempting to receive help from 5 dofferent employees (yes 5), 3 of them did not speak English and gestured for me to speak into a translation app on their mobile phone to try and communicate with me. (this didn't work at all). The other two kept telling me to go to aisles I had already been to or to other aisles that ultimately did not have what I wanted either. I had three patrons see my frustration, and they tried to help me and even walked around with me and/or searched other aisles, only to end up with the same result. They shared their frustration at the lack of service at this store, and two said they almost never go there anymore because of how poorly run and organized this store is. They were as surprised and disappointed as I was in how Walmart would put people in a customer service role that did not speak any English and had to rely on an app ti tey and communicate with customers. Sadly, after over 1 hour of this craziness, I left with none of the items I needed. So I ended up going to another retailer in the same shoppping area, asked the first person I saw for help, they walked me straight to where the product was, checked me out, and I was gone in less than 5 minutes. And major retailers wonder why more and more people prefer shopping online these days?!"

"I'd order online from Kroger or Target. I ordered 43 items that were to be delivered 6 hours later, between 6-7 p.m. At 7 p.m. we received a text that it would be 2 more hours. The following day at 10:30 a.m. I began chatting online and was told to cancel the order and reorder it. I gave them the ok to cancel. 4 hours later, the order still was not cancelled. I began chatting with them again. Now they said it will be 24-48 hours until they cancel my order and take the hold off my bank account. Yesterday, I went into the store for the fresh veggies and items I didn't order. There were about 10 employees using the blue order carts to block several aisle including the restrooms. They were standing around talking. Easy to see why our order was never picked."

However, like any busy store, there can be occasional long lines at checkout, but the self-checkout options alleviate this to some extent. Overall, this Walmart Superstore is a reliable one-stop shop for diverse needs."
