"A friend and I were in Peru this summer for the circus. We were referred here when we went to get tickets for the circus. It had good reviews, so we went. When we first walked in, we thought nah, this looks like a fast food place, paper and plastic, lousy food etc. But then we saw people were eatng off of real dishes, and the menu was interesting, so we gave it a try. Man, we STILL talk about those chicken pot pies and salads we had, and keep looking for an excuse to travel from Indy back to Peru! The food had a great flavor, and people are right when they talk about the salad- it was FRESH, not some old bagged lettuce leaves. It was fresh, cut up fine, moist, and the homemade dressing was fabulous! We wanted to stay long enough to go back and try the roast beef manhattans for dinner, but weren't able to. The service was excellent. The decor isn't fancy, but the food was amazing!"
"Been hearing about this place for years from family and friends. Was in the area and got variety of baked goods to take home, Small town feel with very friendly staffs. They are amazingly delicious. Will go back to try their apple pie and other things ."
"Love Saturday breakfast of biscuit and gravy. Favorite lunch/dinner are the chicken and noodles or beef and noodles but we have loved everything we've ever ordered here. Staff is great and prices are reasonable. One of our favorite stops."
