"Waited 7 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to get our drinks and 30 minutes for our food. Then they messed our order up for waffle fries and brought pretzels with cheese. Came back and asked if we wanted the waffle fries but we didn't have an other 30 minutes to wait for them so just ate the pretzels. In my opinion we should have got the pretzels for free but that wasn't the case! Wake up Applebees.. you need more customers service or you will be losing customers!!"

"Our waitress left right after she took our drink orders and never came back. The manager came 25 minutes later to say she was going to wait on us. She took our food order. We waited another 30 minutes. She brought the food then never came back. The food was overcooked. We could not get her to come to our table. A poor teenager came and brought us our bill 20 minutes after we asked the hostess to find it. He asked if the food was okay and I told him we couldnt even eat some because it was so overcooked. Because the manager wouldnt come to our table, nothing was done. We spent 2.5 hours and $100 on gross food and terrible service. (The teenager was truly apologetic and kind, but that was the managers job.)"

"Our food wasn't cooked properly, but the server did make it right. We just had to wait and ask for their attention. The last few times I have visited have been very inconsistent, but I also know they are short staffed like everywhere else, so I give them grace."

"My wife and I stopped for lunch on our road trip through Indiana. Our food was pretty good, considering the amount of change Applebee's has undergone as a company... the only negative thing was our chips brought out for the artichoke dip was very stale. Our waitress brought out fresh chips and we thanked her as we could tell the difference. I believe that as long as an error is fixed through customer service a place should get a good review. My meal was the lime chicken with cheese topping along with rice. Best chicken I'd had in some time soft and cooked just right."
