"This former Avon-ite turned NYer was pleasantly surprised by my thin crust pizza. The sauce and toppings were pretty good! Mine had mushrooms, black olives and sausage. The sausage is the broken up kind not the sliced kind. It was good, not the kibbles kind like the pizza chain with the D in name . The thin crust took me by surprise because it was actually crisp. And thin. I can't tell if it is fresh and hand thrown because I didn't see them prepare it although the kitchen was open at the counter which I like because they work right in front of you. So if the dough came the fridge I don't care this time. It was just good enough to overlook that. BTW, the place is clean and the help is well trained. That comes from good ownership and management. I like it! With all the amazing pizzerias in my town in NY I would return here if it was in my area."

"I first visited Monicals in Decatur, IL and was very pleased when they came to Avon, IN. We have dined in and have ordered take out. Their salad is always refreshing and their pizza is very good. I highly recommend trying them if you are not familiar with them. They have a unique salad dressing that is on the French style which we love but they offer other varieties as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful."

"We love this place! We have been coming since they opened which might be around 10 years ago. We had a great waitress and back then that she and our infant son became great buddies! Food is always good, place is always clean, and staff is great!"

"Breadsticks that aren't pictured were terrible. Hard and no flavor, pizza had a sour taste and could've used a bit more time in the oven, skip the dips as well. Overall not worth the 25+ dollars spent.... plenty of better pizza elsewhere."
