"They have a decent selection of clothes. Priced fairly reasonably. However, maybe it was just that they are understaffed. Or maybe because of the time of year so it was extra busy. But they had an extremely long line. There were a lot of cashiers, so that wasn't an issue. But, besides the long line, the area where you stand in line was a huge disaster. Things were all over the place. If you wanted to buy an impulse item, as that is what was there, you would have no idea of the price of most items there. Not only that, but there were a lot of items not even on a peg at all, but just on the bottom shelf. A few items were on the floor, but most were not. We went there for new winter coats for my girls, which they both found ones that they like. So, at least we accomplished what we set out to do."

"Store has a good selection but you need to hire more people. Today 2 people operated registers - one was the Manager Dave - they tried all they could to keep the line down. Store is so disorganized. I mean customers don’t help by just throwing things around I’m sure but more staff is definitely needed."

"HIRE MORE STAFF! I have been to several of your stores and every last one of them seems to be understaffed! Hire more people, the store will look a lot better and your employees will be less on edge and not so rude! Jamie, I don't want an apology. I'm more interested in seeing some physical improvements in your stores. I have shopped at them all over Chicago and it is the same issue everywhere I go. Face it! YOU ARE UNDERSTAFFED. YOUR PEOPLE ARE OVERWORKED, TIRED AND RUDE! STOP BEING SO CHEAP AND HIRE MORE STAFF! Burlington is a nice store and sells very nice items, however it reminds me of the old GOLDBLATT'S BARGAIN BASEMENT. It was a JUNKY, JUNKY, JUNKY MESS! I always had to prepare myself before I went there because I knew shopping there was going to be a real hassle. Shopping in Goldblatt's took a lot of extra stamina, and where are they today? After so many years I think people just got tired of the hassle regardless of the fact that the prices were nice. I know I did. I would hate to see Burlington fall by the wayside in the same manner. Trust me, it can happen. Or, maybe Burlington is nothing more than a tax write-off! Even if that is the case, it is very disrespectful for you to treat your customers in such a manner.
